Lacrosse in the Bay Area, California, has finally emerged as nationally recognizable but why stop there?!
We need to continue training our players to strengthen their fundamentals, respect the game, and develop a love for the sport that is far deeper than when they're on the turf.
Players from middle schools and high schools in lacrosse hotbeds such as Maryland, New Jersey, and Long Island, have been taking part in off-season lacrosse camps, leagues, and clinics with their teammates, for years. In many areas, this has trickled down to the U13, U11, and U9 levels.
The results are much improved lacrosse knowledge, stronger game-day skills and instincts, and a better understanding of each position's individual roles.

Improvements for 2009
** The Inaugural edition of one of the most impressive Lax Camps to ever come to our area. "The Upper Crust Camp" (Click to download flyer) features some of Division I Lacrosse's top players, All-Americans, and experience (Click to Meet the 2009 Staff!!). The five-day camp features a turf field, new grass field, bundles of gear and prizes, and lunch on a daily basis! It will fill up quick!
** A lot was learned from the 2008 Girls Summer League. Some significant improvements and changes for 2009 are 1) a more organized and official standings/stat portion of our website, 2) Goalies are FREE, 3) a beautiful TURF field in nearby Palo Alto, 4) the league is in collaboration with the Tomahawks Lacrosse Club of Palo Alto and 5) an Excellent Coaching Staff
** BayAreaLax.com was fortunate to be featured in various lacrosse magazines, and local newspapers, over the past 6 months for its success in growing the sport
